Radar Truth
MARQUEE
▶ Park at the edge. The crest is still real.
MOSCA at high tide used to flood every pilot with the same room-wide roster, whether you were elbow-deep in the swarm or three sectors out watching the fireworks from the hex. The net now tunes itself per pilot — close contacts render full detail, mid-range stays honest on radar, and the deep-far bulk drops out of your feed without the sector ever reading empty or faked.
And the pack itself got fixed too. Friendly depots stopped painting red, dying mid-crest doesn't leave you frozen on a backlog then snapped to a stale position, and MOSCA's scavengers finally shoot back at pilots shooting them. Park at the hex or fly into the middle of it — either way, the crest holds.

NEW

The crest doesn't lie to you anymore. Contacts render full detail up close, drop to a truthful radar blip at range, and vanish from your feed once they're really gone — MOSCA still reads as alive from across the sector, it just doesn't cost you the frame rate to prove it.

Awards throw a party now. Every earn — ORION graduation, LYRA's Ride Cover, all of them — sets off fireworks, and the tray glyph finally matches the mark on the chart instead of a mismatched icon. No more quiet tray settle for a galaxy you just fought to finish.
· #571 #561 -
FORNAX gets its capstone. Smother the furnace and it pays off with its own seal and fanfare — the same treatment ORION and LYRA already had — and it fires whether you're mid-flight or reconnecting after the ceremony already happened.

FIXES
-
Depots don't lie either. Friendly cash-out posts like TALLY stopped painting red on radar and in the world — allies read as allies again.
· #592 -
Death doesn't maroon you mid-crest. Dying in the fight and rejoining used to freeze the client on a backlog of stale traffic, then snap-teleport you once it cleared. Respawn position lands right, fast, now.
· #593 -
MOSCA's scavengers stopped taking it lying down. Belt scavengers used to go quiet on pilots parked on top of them shooting — cargo-shy, not combat-shy. Now they shoot back.

UX
-
Text got 20% bigger, across the board. Every HUD label, chat line, and menu readout scaled up — a direct fix for the single most-reported piece of feedback we get. The uiScale slider still multiplies on top if you want it bigger still.
· #597 #576 -
Press P to tuck the side panel away. The left HUD spine — objectives, awards, the rest — hides and shows on demand now, and it's listed in Help so you're not stumbling onto it by accident.
· #598 -
Radar reads clean at a glance. Station POIs are cyan now, not a magenta that sat one shade off hostile red at map scale — cash-out posts and threats don't get mixed up anymore.

PILOT'S NOTE
MOSCA at high tide has been the flagship’s hardest room to be in, and until now it was hardest for the wrong reason: everyone in the galaxy got the same full-detail flood over the wire, whether they were dead center of the swarm or parked three sectors out just watching. That’s fixed. The net now tunes itself per pilot — full detail close in, a truthful radar blip in the mid-band, and the deep-far bulk simply doesn’t make the trip (#585, #587, #588, #589). Nothing’s invented and nothing’s hidden that shouldn’t be — the sector still reads as alive from across the map, it just stops costing you frames to prove it (#586, #590, #591).
That handled the view from the edge. The fight itself needed its own pass. Friendly depots like TALLY had started painting red — a cash-out post reading as a threat is the kind of bug that gets pilots killed for no reason (#592). Dying mid-crest and rejoining used to freeze the client on a backlog of stale traffic, then snap-teleport you to your real position once it cleared — fixed, so respawn lands where it should, fast (#593). And MOSCA’s scavengers had a fairness bug backwards: they’d go quiet on a pilot standing on top of them shooting, because the trigger only cared about cargo value. They shoot back now (#595).
Elsewhere: awards throw a party. Every earn — ORION graduation, LYRA’s Ride Cover, all of them — sets off fireworks, and the tray glyph finally matches the mark on the chart (#571). FORNAX picked up its own capstone badge for smothering the furnace, with the same seal-and-fanfare treatment the other galaxies already had, firing reliably whether you’re mid-flight or reconnecting late (#567, #568, #572).
And on the readability front: text across the HUD, chat, and menus is 20% bigger, straight off pilot feedback that it was too small to read (#597, #576). P now tucks the left HUD spine out of the way and back — it’s in Help so you don’t have to find it by accident (#598). And station POIs on radar are cyan now, not a magenta that sat one shade off hostile red at map scale — depots and threats don’t get mixed up anymore (#596).
